At GENWI (derived from Generation Wireless), we strive to always innovate and stay ahead of the mobile curve. When we started the business, we had one goal: to help businesses reach the wireless generation wherever those connection points are—a smartphone, a tablet, a television, a car, or anyplace where people interact with information wirelessly.
That’s the mission that originally drove us to invent cloud publishing in 2010 and continues to inspire us today. As a team, we are passionately committed to leading the cloud publishing revolution by delivering the highest quality experience—for both our customers and their end users—with integrity, urgency, and ownership.
The GENWI mCMS is the most flexible, customizable, and proven in the industry. It powers over 1,500 apps, stores and delivers 90M+ articles and 120M+ images, and serves over 6M+ app views per month. Leadership Team
PJ Gurumohan
PhD, CEO and Co-Founder
PJ manages the overall strategy and operations, with an emphasis on growing the brand and business. He developed the first version of GENWI MobilePresence publishing platform. Prior to GENWI, he developed a Social RSS reader that was one of the top 10 RSS readers in the world. He was also a key member of the team that developed one of the first versions of Togetherville, a safe social networking site for children and GluTV, a video delivery platform. He has held various engineering and market analyst positions at IBM, Arizona Tech. Enterprise, and US Airways. He holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Arizona State. He owns two patents related to wireless networking and has authored several journal articles and presented at numerous technology and industry conferences.

Rahul Patel
Co-Founder & CTO
Rahul helps define the GENWI product strategy and oversees technology and engineering developments. Before joining GENWI, Rahul was Vice President of Server Technology at Oracle Corporation where he was responsible for Enterprise 2.0 and Portal platform that included several industry-leading products such as Oracle WebCenter, WebLogic Portal, WebCenter Interaction and Oracle Portal. Prior to Oracle, he was responsible for data integration and XML/XQuery technology development for BEA Systems & held senior level positions at other Enterprise Software companies including Sun Microsystems, Sybase, and Versata. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Florida.

Raju Sagiraju
Co-Founder & Executive Director, Business Development & Strategy
Raju is a co-founder of GENWI. Raju helps define GENWI’s business strategy and oversees product management. Raju developed the initial GENWI business strategy and helped define the product packaging, pricing, and marketing. He was also instrumental in securing partnerships with university news publications and marquee media companies. Prior to GENWI, he co-founded YourQuad.com. Yourquad aimed to build a social network revolving around sports and clubs amongst high school students. He is continuing to complete his undergrad at San Jose State University.

Amanda Van Nuys
Vice President, Marketing
Amanda leads all aspects of GENWI marketing including brand awareness and lead generation. Prior to joining GENWI, she refreshed the Mozes brand and positioned the company among key thought leaders and brand marketers, leading to increased awareness and lead flow. Prior to joining Mozes, Amanda was the Executive Director, Enterprise Marketing at Linden Lab/Second Life. Amanda was also the Vice President of Marketing at Organic, where she transformed the off-the-radar brand into a leading digital agency. She has also held other marketing positions at Scient, Novell, Sybase, and Regis McKenna. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Vassar College.

Ved Singh
Vice President, GENWI India
Ved leads GENWI’s business in India and Southeast Asia. Previously, he was the Director at Oracle’s India Development Center, the company’s prime research and development center in the region. Before joining Oracle, Ved was a senior software engineer at Tata Technologies. He holds a Masters in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and an Executive M.B.A from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He also received his Bachelor of Technology from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology.

Rajesh Soundar
Senior Director, Sales
Raj leads all aspects of GENWI sales including strategy, GTM plan and execution. Prior to joining GENWI, he managed sales for Belgian-based Luma Technologies, evangelizing and onboarding for their multi-channel marketing SaaS platform for the US market. Prior to joining Luma, Raj built from scratch a technology marketing practice at Northbound, where he rolled up his sleeves, closed business at F500 companies, and increased FTEs 10x over a 1 ½ year period, resulting in a multi-million dollar business unit with full P&L responsibility. Raj has held both direct and senior level positions at LinkedIn, Autonomy Interwoven, and HSBC. Raj has also served in multiple advisory positions, most recently serving as Advisor to the senior management and Board of Directors for Sensible Software, an India-based cloud collaboration SaaS platform provider. Raj holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Santa Clara University.
